Pantacce are a traditional Tuscan shape: squared pieces with wavy edges and a rippled, angular form. La Molisana makes them in Molise from Italian durum wheat that is stone-dehulled before milling, then bronze-drawn for a rough, porous surface.

They're traditionally served with beans, pasta e fagioli style, and are also excellent with mushrooms, game ragù or hearty vegetable sauces.
