Stelline are tiny star-shaped pasta, probably the best-loved pastina in Italian homes. La Molisana makes them in Molise from Italian durum wheat that is stone-dehulled before milling, then bronze-drawn.

Serve them in a light broth, in vegetable soup or with a knob of butter and grated Parmigiano for a classic children's supper.
