Barilla Basilico is a classic tomato and basil sauce made with sun-ripened 100% Italian tomatoes, sweet Datterini tomatoes and fragrant basil, for a fresh, Mediterranean flavour.

It's ready to pour straight onto freshly drained pasta. Barilla recommends Spaghetti n.5, but it suits almost any shape and also makes an easy base for homemade pizza. For the best flavour, warm it gently in a pan or the microwave after opening and finish with a handful of chopped fresh herbs.

Nutrition: per 100g: 64kcal (268kJ), 2.6g fat (0.3g saturates), 7.6g carbohydrate (5.9g sugars), 1.9g fibre, 1.6g protein and 0.9g salt.
