Pennoni Lisci are the big, smooth sibling of classic penne: wide tubes cut on the diagonal with a sleek finish. La Molisana makes them in Molise from stone-dehulled Italian durum wheat, bronze-drawn so that even the smooth surface has a fine, porous texture.

Smooth penne are a Neapolitan favourite and suit silkier sauces, such as tomato and basil, vodka and cream, or a simple butter and Parmigiano. Their size also makes them a great choice for oven-baked pasta.
