Lumache ("snails") are curved, shell-like pasta with an opening that scoops up sauce. Granoro makes them in Corato, Puglia, from durum wheat semolina.
They're great with chunky vegetable sauces, peas and ham, or a meat ragù. Like all of Granoro's Classici, this pasta keeps its golden colour and the aroma of ripe wheat, and stays firm and al dente long after cooking.
