Matilde Vicenzi has been baking amaretti since 1905, when the family business began in a small bakery near Verona. These classic round amaretti are crunchy, with the bittersweet almond flavour that comes from apricot kernels, plus a little Sicilian almond.

Enjoy them on their own with an espresso or tea, or crumble them into creamy desserts, cheesecakes and baked puddings.
