Montevergine's soft torrone brings together almonds, delicate pieces of pear and the intense, aromatic flavour of cocoa beans. The soft, chewy texture sets off the contrast between the gentle fruit and the slightly bitter cocoa, for a taste that is original yet well balanced: sweetness with real character.

Montevergine torrone comes from Ospedaletto d'Alpinolo, a small town in Irpinia, Campania, at the foot of Monte Partenio and below the Montevergine sanctuary. The town has long been known for its torrone, which is closely tied to the traditional pilgrimage up the mountain. The range is made by DG3 Dolciaria, a local torrone maker with more than a century of history, using historic Irpinian recipes, selected ingredients and careful quality checks. Serve it in thin slices with coffee or a glass of dessert wine.
