Elicoidali are ridged tubes, a little slimmer than rigatoni, with grooves that spiral around the pasta. Granoro makes them in Corato, Puglia, from durum wheat semolina.

The spiral ridges grip sauce, making them ideal for meat sauces, sausage and broccoli, and baked pasta. Like all of Granoro's Classici, this pasta keeps its golden colour and the aroma of ripe wheat, and stays firm and al dente long after cooking.
